The Dying Star


This is a NASA photo of a dying star called the Helix nebula.  It is found 650 light years away from Earth in the Aquarius constellation. In death, the dusty outer layers of the nebula unraveled into space, shimmering from the powerful ultraviolet radiation produced by its hot  core.

A Spear Through a Skull Xray

A spear pierced through the skull of Yasser Lopez by accident. A friend of Lopez  was loading a speargun when it suddenly fired straight to Lopez's head. He was taken to the hospital with almost 3 feet of the spear sticking out from his forehead. Luckily, the spear missed the major blood vessels and he survived.

Thousands of sting rays swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, These golden cow-nose sting rays usually migrate in groups of up to 10,000. They can reach as far as the Caribbean in the south and New England in the north.
