The Green Lake in Austria dries out almost completely during fall. It is used as a county park in the winter and is famous for the underwater park which forms during the spring due to the snow meltdown.

This is an unedited cellphone shot of a girl biking in front of Amsterdam's royal palace reflected in a water puddle. No Photoshop or any tricks were done on this picture. It was selected as 'Photo of the Day' at the Metro Photo Challenge and was featured in Metro newspaper.
This is a NASA photo of a dying star called the Helix nebula. It is found 650 light years away from Earth in the Aquarius constellation. In death, the dusty outer layers of the nebula unraveled into space, shimmering from the powerful ultraviolet radiation produced by its hot core.
These waves were taken by Kenji Croman, a wave photographer born in Hawaii. He was featured on the travel section of CNN and Innov8 magazine. His photos were also published on the cover of the Hawaiian Yellow Pages and different surfing magazines.

A spear pierced through the skull of Yasser Lopez by accident. A friend of Lopez was loading a speargun when it suddenly fired straight to Lopez's head. He was taken to the hospital with almost 3 feet of the spear sticking out from his forehead. Luckily, the spear missed the major blood vessels and he survived. www.birminghammail.net
Thousands of sting rays swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, These golden cow-nose sting rays usually migrate in groups of up to 10,000. They can reach as far as the Caribbean in the south and New England in the north.
